The Challenge

Synthesizing the starting concepts of the new Verizon brand with current designs, while systematically implementing these changes in a consistent manner that supports future growth & development.

The Solution

A comprehensive design overhaul that refines color, shape, content organization, and platform tone, delivering a more approachable and revitalized visual experience.

Contributions to Verizon’s Rebrand

Core Design System

Supported the rebranding and continued development of Verizon’s core design system components, their guidelines documentation and associated SPECs for developers in line with new brand requirements.

  • Refined the system’s core color palette to better align visually with the new brand concepts and reinforce certain user interactions.

  • Evaluated page hierarchy across screens, identifying patterns and opportunities to enhance usability via the new brand concepts.

  • Assisted in the development of a refined elevation system for both light and dark themes, considering different interaction states (hover, active, etc.) to create depth and clarity across the interface.

  • Contributed to the development of a design token system, standardizing decisions on color, spacing, and elevation to maintain consistency and scalability in the new brand.

Interface Design

Designed rebranded and net-new pages across multiple Verizon.com domains and additional platforms to support large-scale brand and experience updates.

  • Conducted in-depth competitor analysis and research to inform web, tablet, and mobile design concepts.

  • Redesigned existing pages to align with new brand standards while improving visual clarity and cohesion.

  • Translated stakeholder requirements into structured design roadmaps and user flows.

  • Delivered net-new pages built from the ground up with a focus on brand alignment, usability, and conversion optimization.

  • Designed supporting platforms beyond Verizon.com, concepting and delivering screens for Verizon mobile applications, email campaign platforms, and digital learning portals.
